Georgia Macleod

I’m from a tiny coastal town in the Highlands of Scotland but found myself in beautiful Cascais when my partner’s job moved to Lisbon in 2024. Although my background is in Event Management, I have a degree in English, a TEFL qualification and a passion for teaching and am delighted to have joined the ELC team. It’s incredibly rewarding to nurture the students’ efforts and play a part in their language journey. I’m at the early stages of learning Portuguese so only too aware of the challenges my students (particularly the busy adults!) face. I’m at my happiest when taking photos and also love walking, exploring, music & podcasts, drinking the excellent coffee to be found here and soaking up Portuguese life...oh and hosting visits from my adult kids - two daughters and two stepdaughters!
