Cambridge Exams

Group Courses for Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency

Our objective is to give you the opportunity to progress in all areas of English and to prepare you thoroughly for your Cambridge exam. Courses run from September to June but if you are ready, you can certainly take the exam early.

Language objectives Exam training objectives
  • become better able to communicate confidently, clearly and accurately when speaking and writing
  • become better able to understand reading texts and audio recordings
  • expand the range of grammar and vocabulary you are able to use
  • maintain and develop your interest in, and motivation for, learning English
  • understand how best to tackle all the question types in your Cambridge exam
  • become familiar with the requirements and pressures of taking a Cambridge exam
  • improve your scores in all parts of your Cambridge exam

At the end of each term, you will complete a mock test for all exam papers: Reading & Use of English / Writing / Listening / Speaking under exam conditions and with strict test timings. These are designed, not only to give you an indication of how well you are likely to do in the real exam at that time, but also to give you experience of working under exam conditions and pressure.

In Term 2, you will receive a statement of results with your end-of-term test scores and a clear recommendation on whether we believe you are ready or not to register for the Cambridge exam in the summer.
