Each year in May, our Voyager age students (ages 8-11) are invited to take part in a picnic and traditional games in the park!  This is a fantastic opportunity for the children to practice their English in a relaxed, playful environment and to meet with other children who study at ELC!

Students work together in small teams to find and solve clues around the park. This is an excellent opportunity for students to practise their English in a fun way outside the classroom and also get to know students in other classes at ELC.

Taking every opportunity to include different ages and levels, younger learners will listen to a story written by higher level teenage groups and then they will illustrate what they hear. The end product? Fantastically unique stories. Come to ELC to read these amazing books produced over the last few years!

ELC participates in the Câmara Municipal de Cascais Children's Day event on June 1st every year. Our fabulous Teaching Team takes it in turns telling stories to children both in English and Portuguese. And what do parents do while they're waiting? They have the chance to win a free English or Portuguese lesson by taking part in our quiz!
