Meet the staff

Bernado Rocha

My first degree is in Theatre Studies & Acting, followed by Languages, Literature and Culture (in Italian, with a minor degree in Linguistics). I lived in Normandy, France for 4 years while studying. I'm currently completing my Master’s degree in Teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language. I also work in a Lisbon bookshop 3 times a week.

My curiosity and enjoyment of studying and teaching/learning languages led me to follow this career path.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, theatre and cinema. During the winter, I enjoy the library; poetry, novels and learning other languages. Springtime is left for going on walks and enjoying podcasts!
