Children
Our experienced native speaker teachers provide the very best support for our younger learners.
We focus on:
- Building confidence when speaking and writing in English
- Broadening vocabulary and grammar range
- Producing project work to learn and consolidate language areas
Timetable
Age 5 – 7: one hour x2 per week
Age 8-10: 1 hour 20 minutes twice a week or x3 hours once a week or 3 hours once a week (Fridays or Saturdays)
Course content
Besides the chosen Course Book and Work Book, our children use:
- ELC’s library of graded readers
- ICT for written work and research
- English films, songs and stories
Parents:
Parents receive written reports about their child’s progress 4 times a year.
We hold 2 parents’ evenings during the year; before Christmas and after Easter. Parents have the opportunity to make an appointment at any time of the year with their child’s teacher.
Levels:
Regular homework is given to consolidate class work.
Teachers support students’ progress by giving regular feedback on class work.
